Tetris and Fiction, Together at Last

Several hoorays for Salvatore Pane's story "Those Endlessly Falling Blocks and Their Holy Patterns and Prizes" currently up on Hobart's webpage. The main character is the creator of Tetris. Being an old-school Nintendo-junkie, I was hooked by the premise from the get-go, and surprised at the story's depth by the end. Pane formats his flash piece creatively, using four sections with titles. It's hilarious, poignant and so pleasing.

Hobart's a sweet print journal with a site uploaded often with shorter pieces. All the pieces they publish in both forms are excellent.
