Story from DecomP

I just discovered an online literary magazine called Decomp, which has a good mix of poetry, flash fiction and short stories. I particularly enjoyed this quirky, bittersweet story by Chuck Augello called "The Prerogatives of Magic" that I found myself re-thinking about for a few days afterward. It centers around a (maybe) magic child and/ or ailing marriage. Simple, funny in its own way, subtly haunting.

While the print-publishing industry wanes, it's nice to discover all these web-zines popping up with new authors, editors and stories.
